Youth Tournament (Hong Kong Station) - Primary School Group K Group & L Group 2023

This is tournament coverage of the 2023 Robomasters Youth Series held in Hong Kong. An unedited link to the original broadcast has been added for your convenience. Enjoy, and a belated 'good luck' to all the Pilots! It is always wonderful to see teams push themselves to the limits, no matter the skill level.

Below is a quick summary of the rules for the youth championship of 2022. While not exactly the same for 2023 (particularly in layout), the similar rules made this video worth rewatching as a "refresher."

The 2023 series includes an "automated" section of the competition, requiring bots to move on their own for a set period of time at the beginning of each round. This section rewards meticulous calculations, precision engineering, and risk analysis. Teams could start with a Rune (damage multiplier), in better starting positions for a first blood, or completely off guard and facing the wrong way. It all depends on the team and the riskiness of the chosen automated task.
